Ability to read the itinerary/get next instruction via remote control

I'd like to be able to read the itinerary over the tcp/ip remote control, and also to be able to read the next instruction (i.e. "turn left in 100m"). The intent behind this is to be able to feed this into the car's instrument cluster/head up display to avoid having to look at the navigation screen whilst driving.
